Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Panama Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Panama on the Android platform showcased varied trends across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance, with data insights courtesy of Sensor Tower.

BipBip Rides saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 5.1K and peaking at 7.8K in early November before declining to 3.4K by the end of December. The app's active user base grew steadily, beginning with around 8.4K and reaching a high of 15.8K by the quarter's end.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 5.9K and peaking at 7.4K in late December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 55K mark throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride maintained a consistent upward trend in downloads, beginning with 1.5K and reaching 2.3K in mid-December. Active users showed a similar trend, increasing from approximately 28K to 31.6K by late November.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a modest performance with downloads starting at 434 and reaching a peak of 561 in mid-December. Active users saw minor fluctuations, starting at about 3.3K and peaking at 3.8K in early December.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 411 and dropping to 250 by late December. Active users also saw a decline, beginning with around 11K and ending the quarter at 8.9K.
